Society should reform not women

21st century is still stuck in primitive thinking. Time has changed but not the society. Today women are deprived of their rights and empowerment. When a parents blessed with a daughter they regret and think why God does not bless them son. Though they continue to raise the daughter. But the society compels them to think that only sons should bear legacy of the family. Society constantly echoes the destiny of women folks is marriage. After facing all the problems women continue their education. the society shout what should we get if a girl study, when their ultimate goal is marrying. in Bangladesh child marriage is so common. According to the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Bangladesh has the highest number of child marriage in South Asia, and second highest in the world, with 59%of Bangladeshi girls being married before attaining the age of 18 (Iffat and Syeda, 2020) 


After facing all these obstacles, women folks march ahead. there are so many ways to stop a women. The most effective way to stop a woman is sexual harassment. In every step of life, women face this kind of harassment. The sexual harassment victim demographic ranges anywhere from kids to elderly women. Today raping and torturing is a Common phenomenon. On October 1, 2020 Ain O Salish Kendra, a Bangladesh based human rights Organization, revealed that from January to September of that year, men raped more than 1,000 Women. Forty-three of those women died, and more than 200 others evaded their rape attempts. 


The violence against the women more or less the same wold wide. There is no security of life for the daughter of our country. The society should ensure women’s security. the society give lecture to women to be decent, courteous and polite, but they failed to apply this on boys. even they use religion as a tool to degrade women. if a woman became self-dependent the so-called society tries to break their confidence. Because of this disgusting behaviour of this society, women lose their existence. in this circumstances woman do not live in their own ways instead they live in others unjust ways. the woman should not change instead the society should change their perception.
